You can apply for a free eCard online if you live, work or attend school in Hamilton. The eCard will allow you to borrow library materials. Here's how you can get an online library card:


1. Visit the Hamilton Public Library website and click on the "Get a Library Card" button.


2. Select the appropriate option based on your residency status. If you are a resident of Hamilton, select "Resident of Hamilton Ontario." If you live outside of Hamilton but work or attend school in Hamilton, select "Live outside of Hamilton, but work or attend school in Hamilton", but work or attend school in Hamilton." If you are a member of the Six Nations of the Grand River, select "Six Nations of the Grand River."


3. Fill out the online form with your personal information, including your name, address, and email address. 


4. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an eCard number via email shortly. You can use this number to access the library's online resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines.
